Study in UK Visa Briefing and VISION 2010 - Upper 6

For U6 2008 (as well as U6 2009) today was the briefing for the new application procedures for student visa to UK. There's quite a bit to do, thus students are advised to apply for their visa at least 2 months before the date of departure. Of course, for most of our students, your studies are funded by the government thus there's not much for you to do at the moment but wait for news from the Scholarship Section. However, it's advisable to prepare now so that you will not regret later. More information can be found HERE

Today was also the kickstart of VISION for Upper Sixth 2009, with plans of entry to University in 2010, coordinated by Ck Pg Hjh Mashayu. For those of you who turned up, congratulations for taking a proactive and dynamic role in shaping your future. You will not regret it. I promise you!

Those who came obtained the following,
1. HEU Research file - complete with all your post A level options.
2. Form A & Form B - This needs to be completed by AUGUST 2009 where you will then meet with your counsellor along with a copy of your personal statement.
3. A-level prediction forms and HEU counselling record - this was completed on the spot and returned to the counsellors, indicating that they have now REGISTERED formally for VISION with HEU.

Click HERE for more information on VISION.

Once again, if you have not gone for VISION, make an appointment with your counsellor as soon as possible. InsyaAllah the HEU will conduct a personal statement workshop in July to help those who want to make a good personal statement in time for UCAS application in September.

In the mean time, good luck for the June AS level exams!

On Tuesday 5th May Ck Pg Hjh Mashayu also introduced VISION 2011 to the lower sixth students who were a very attentive audience. Prepare now for a better future! :)
